Atlas Connections is seeking a Senior Stormwater Engineer to lead projects that protect communities and support resilient infrastructure in Lenexa, KS. You will guide from planning through construction, blending technical design with leadership, client relations, and mentorship.

You’ll collaborate with engineers across disciplines and help develop junior staff, ensuring compliance with FEMA/EPA/state/local requirements while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer license.
• 7+ years of relevant stormwater/ water resources experience.
• Experience designing stormwater, potable water, and wastewater systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Proficiency with modeling tools (HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, PCSWMM, GPS-X).
• Strong communication, leadership, and client-relations skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Design conveyance systems, detention/retention facilities, drainage, and water quality solutions.
• Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet schedule and budget.
• Prepare and review studies, reports, calculations, and specs.
• Support proposals, scope development, and fee estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards.
