Job summary

NorthPoint Development is seeking a Design Engineer to join the SitePoint team for on-site support in Kansas City, MO. You will collaborate with engineers, planners and surveyors to conceptualize site plans, define grades and utilities, and design stormwater facilities for large projects.

You will gain licensure experience and work with licensed Professional Engineers across industrial, data center, multifamily and retail developments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and licensure plan.
Comfortable using Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.
Desire to collaborate with engineers, planners and surveyors.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, planners and surveyors in a fast-paced team environment.
Gain experience toward licensure while solving design challenges across industrial, data center, multifamily and retail platforms.
Conceptualize site plans, define site grades and utilities using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Design and communicate stormwater facilities using PondPack and other modeling tools.
Prepare entitlement and permitting submittal documents from inception to construction.
