Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer focused on Stormwater Compliance to lead CGP programs, develop SWPPPs, and collaborate with construction teams and regulators to ensure robust environmental performance.

This role drives inspections, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement across site expansion projects, leveraging 5+ years of experience and knowledge of permits and BMPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management with environmental emphasis, or related field.
• 5+ years in stormwater compliance, construction environmental programs, or industrial environmental operations.
• Knowledge of CGP, SWPPP, BMPs and stormwater regulations.
• Ability to interpret permits, plans, and regulations while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CGP compliance activities including permit implementation, inspections, actions, and reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee SWPPPs, records, site assessments, and compliance docs.
• Evaluate construction activities and controls for environmental compliance risks.
• Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and root-cause analyses with timely corrective actions.
• Partner with internal teams, contractors, and regulators on permitting and training.
