Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer focused on Stormwater Compliance to lead CGP and SWPPP initiatives. You will partner with construction teams, facilities, and regulators to drive environmental controls and process improvements supporting site expansion and operational excellence.

Required are 5+ years in stormwater regulatory programs, CGP knowledge, and strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management with environmental emphasis, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in stormwater compliance, construction environmental compliance or related programs.
• Knowledge of CGP requirements, SWPPP development, BMPs and stormwater regulations.
• Ability to interpret environmental regulations, permits and plans while managing priorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CGP compliance activities, including permit implementation, inspections, corrective actions, and reporting.
• Develop and oversee SWPPPs, stormwater records, site assessments, and compliance documentation.
• Evaluate construction activities, BMPs, erosion controls, spill prevention, and site operations for compliance risks.
• Conduct environmental audits, inspections, investigations, and root cause analyses with timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulators on compliance, permitting and training.
