Job summary

Goodwill of North Florida in Jacksonville is seeking a Senior Store Manager (FT Kernan) to lead the home store and oversee additional stores in the region. You will drive sales, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service while aligning with the organization's mission.

This role requires five years of retail experience with at least two in management, travel up to 75%, and proficiency with MS Office and POS systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires five years of retail experience with at least two years of managerial experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time with valid Driver's License and state auto insurance.
• Hours may vary and will require holidays, evenings and weekend work as business needs dictate.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications; proficient with Excel and POS systems.
• Proven leadership skills including business acumen, supervision, organizational & communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead home store and 1–2 additional stores in the geographic area.
• Hire, train, develop, coach, and evaluate store staff; enforce policies.
• Ensure customer service, merchandising, safety, and cash handling standards.
• Monitor store performance, budgets and payroll expenses.
• Develop open communication channels and manage production and reporting requirements.
