Job summary

RaceTrac, a leader in convenience store retail, seeks a General Manager to oversee up to 45 employees and drive guest experiences, profitability, and culture.

You will lead a fast-paced team, recruit and mentor staff, and execute plans to hit sales, labor, and inventory goals while upholding food safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and internal advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience (high‑volume preferred).
• Strong leadership, coaching and team‑building skills.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make data‑driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices.
• High School Diploma or GED, in progress or completed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must obtain and maintain Manager Food Handler certification (and alcohol server permit, if required).

Responsibilities

• Foster a guest‑obsessed culture and mentor team members.
• Recruit, train, and provide continuous feedback.
• Execute operational plans to meet sales, labor, and profitability goals.
• Analyze sales, margins, and labor reports to identify improvements.
