Job summary

Disney is seeking a Store Design Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of new store locations and renovations across our retail franchises. You will manage external architectural firms and collaborate with Site Operations, Facility Asset Management, and Walt Disney Imagineering to ensure quality, on-time delivery and brand consistency.

You will report to the Director, Store Design & Development.

Qualifications

• Six+ years leading retail store design initiatives.
• Experience in architecture of retail stores and store builds.
• Excellent project management with multi-tasking.
• Ability to convey design concepts graphically.
• Familiar with brand guidelines for retail footprints.
• Experience coordinating with external architectural firms.
• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage store design from development through execution for multiple projects.
• Liaise between merchandise, operations, Facility Asset Management and Imagineering.
• Ensure layouts meet requirements and review vendor drawings.
• Develop cost optimization and savings opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with external consultants and vendors.
• Contribute to brand guideline development for fixtures and decor.
