Job summary

Oracle seeks a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of high-performance, massively scalable file storage powering OCI. You will design distributed storage systems for AI/ML workloads, collaborate with high-profile customers, and shape cloud storage's future across compute and networking layers.

You will join a mission-critical Tier 1 service, mentoring juniors and driving architectural excellence while delivering reliable, scalable solutions for global customers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering distributed storage systems.
• Ability to work on high-performance, scalable cloud storage solutions.
• Collaboration with product management and senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to define and deliver new capabilities for OCI's file storage.
• Collaborate with senior architects to design and deliver scalable storage solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize features for OCI's distributed file storage platform.
• Operate and improve a Tier 1 cloud service with strict SLAs.
• Work with compute and networking teams to improve scalability, performance, and efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers through guidance and reviews.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, testing strategies, and best practices.
