Oracle Corporation in Seattle is seeking an experienced senior engineer to own software design for major components of the Object Storage Service within Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure. You will drive scalable, reliable, and highly available solutions for enterprise workloads in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment.

You will work on system design, architecture, and automation in a collaborative, agile environment, delivering enterprise-class features with simplicity and scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale storage architectures.
• Strong coding skills and hands-on software development experience.
• Familiarity with distributed state management, fault tolerance, and system reliability.

Responsabilités

• Implements and contributes to the development for components of distributed systems that support horizontal and vertical scaling.
• Optimizes code and systems for large-scale data processing in large-scale systems.
• Implements scalability requirements for assigned components and reviews implementation of team members.
• Leverages data plane components to handle large-scale data retrieval, storage, and processing.
• Implements performance and load testing.
