Job summary

Oracle Corporation's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team seeks a hands-on senior software engineer to define and build the next generation of control-plane storage. You will design highly available, strongly consistent distributed systems and contribute to read/write scalability and data-plane architecture.

You will mentor engineers, drive large technical initiatives, and partner across product and SRE to ensure production readiness.

Responsibilities

Lead design and evolution of foundational cloud infrastructure services that manage control-plane metadata and state.
Architect and build highly available, strongly consistent, low-latency distributed systems.
Drive major technical initiatives across the full lifecycle, from architecture to rollout.
Improve service scalability and performance via data-plane architecture, caching, and throttling.
Build and operate resilient multi-tenant systems with observability and incident prevention.
Mentor engineers and establish best practices for production readiness.
