Job summary

Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company in Austin, TX, seeks a Sr. Software Development Engineer to architect, build, and operate high-performance storage infrastructure for EDA and HPC workloads.

You will own storage platforms including FSx for NetApp ONTAP, FSx for Lustre, and S3, enabling fast silicon design iterations. Responsibilities include deploying and managing NFS exports, SVMs, quota enforcement, and cross-account architectures, while building observability, and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
• 5+ years of full SDLC experience including reviews and operations.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.
• 5+ years hands-on systems engineering in networking/storage.
• Knowledge of iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB and SDS concepts.
• Bachelor's or above in CS/CE/SE or related field.
• 3+ years with NAS/NFS storage systems and AWS storage services.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate high-performance storage platforms for EDA/HPC workloads.
• Manage NFS exports, ONTAP SVMs, snapshots, quotas across multi-tenant environments.
• Deploy storage infra using AWS CDK and cross-VPC/multi-account solutions.
• Build monitoring and incident response for storage health and cost trends.
• Collaborate with silicon design teams to scale capacity and mentor others.
