Viking Enterprise Solutions, part of the Sanmina family, seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to validate storage and server products in Colorado Springs, CO or San Jose, CA. You will design and execute test plans, replicate field issues, and drive conformance to requirements.

Responsibilities include developing test scripts, coordinating with firmware and test teams, and documenting results for audits. Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and Jira/Bugzilla usage are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or computer science or related field.
• 8 years minimum experience required in a related role.
• Excellent working knowledge of OSs (Linux, Windows, Unix).
• Experience with Server/Storage system architecture.
• Excellent scripting skills in Python and Linux Bash.
• Preferred experience with testing BMC, BIOS and SES firmware for storage/server apps.
• Understanding of SES, BMC, BIOS testing requirements.
• Strong communication to interact with colleagues, customers and engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop test plans for product validation and QA.
• Create and execute test scripts to validate storage/server designs.
• Replicate field issues related to BIOS/BMC firmware and software.
• Document failing tests and results in Jira/Bugzilla for audit trails.
• Lead interoperability discussions with third party vendors as needed.
• Perform HW, SW, FW and interoperability tests across cross-functional teams.
