Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is offering a Firmware Development Intern position in Colorado Springs. You will gain hands-on experience by participating in firmware engineering activities within the Viking Enterprise Solutions group, reporting to the Firmware Engineering Manager, and assisting with BMC/SES platforms.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, contribute to code development, debugging, and documentation, and learn how enterprise hardware and software come together in production

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (2nd–4th year).
• Foundational understanding of embedded system design concepts.
• Familiarity with C/C++ and OS concepts.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist firmware architects and hardware teams with requirements.
• Help create high- and low-level design documents.
• Contribute to firmware code development, fixes, and unit tests.
• Support debugging and integration of firmware (BMC/SES).
• Provide status updates on development tasks.
