Viking Enterprise Solutions, part of the Sanmina family, seeks a Senior Firmware Development Engineer to join our Colorado Springs team. You will drive firmware design for storage/server products, own design documents, and push firmware from design to GA for BMC/SES software.

Collaborating with hardware and firmware architects, you will ensure timely delivery and high quality, while supporting field issues and external partners.

Qualificações

• BS or MS degree in Electrical engineering or computer science.
• 8+ years of hands on product design and firmware development experience in a medium or large global organization.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Storage/Server HW design and firmware architects to provide input on firmware design requirements.
• Collaborate with firmware architects to complete high-level and low-level design documents.
• Coordinate with project team to provide task sizing and scheduling.
• Lead firmware development from design and unit testing to HW/FW integration and GA release.
• Participate in firmware code development and code reviews.
• Provide weekly status updates to program management on development status.
• Support field engineers to debug and resolve customer-site problems.
