Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Storage Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and storage operations in a large-scale, mission-critical environment at Quantico, VA. The Storage Engineer will provide Tier II/III support for SAN, NAS, and backup technologies while ensuring system availability and security.
Required qualifications include 10+ years in IT, experience with SAN platforms (NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure, 3PAR/Nimble/Primera, Hitachi, IBM, Nutanix), strong knowledge
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience in enterprise storage environments or related fields.
- Experience with major SAN platforms and storage networking concepts.
- Active DoD security clearance and IAM III/CISSP/CISM/CISA certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and remediate issues within SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage environments.
- Provision storage resources, manage capacity planning, and configure backup/replication solutions.
- Perform vulnerability remediation, patching, and DISA STIG compliance activities across storage platforms.
- Upgrade storage hardware/software while supporting virtualization and modernization efforts.
- Provide Tier II/III escalation support and document incidents/resolutions.
