Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a skilled storage technologist to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade storage solutions. You will work with IT architects, analysts, and engineers to ensure storage architectures meet performance, security, and cost goals.

The role emphasizes data backup/recovery planning, disaster/cyber recovery testing, and ongoing collaboration to optimize storage across the IT ecosystem. A strong background in systems and cloud storage is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
5 years of experiences in designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, test, implement, and automate technical IT storage solutions.
Provide production monitoring, storage capacity management, and storage ecosystem support.
Assist in data backup and recovery management including disaster and cyber recovery testing.
Collaborate on storage architectures to align with enterprise goals.
Gather requirements across IT, product, analytics, and business teams for storage solutions.
Document processes and mentor junior engineers.
