Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a seasoned Storage Solutions Engineer to join our IT team in Colorado. You will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable storage architectures across on-premises and cloud platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

You will collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into viable storage solutions, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in governance, backup, and disaster

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT storage design, implementation, or operations.
Experience with storage architectures and enterprise storage solutions.
Strong understanding of cloud storage platforms and services.
Experience with data backup, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery.
Proficient in scripting and automation to improve storage workflows.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, test, implement, and automate IT storage solutions.
Provide production monitoring and capacity management for storage.
Assist in backup, recovery, and DR testing activities.
Collaborate across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements.
Document processes and mentor junior engineers.
