Job summary

Azusa Solutions seeks a Sr. Storage Administrator/Engineer to join our Maryland consulting team. You will oversee backup systems and storage arrays, coordinate with ISSO for security authorizations, and work on SAN zoning and performance.

Requires 10+ years in system/storage administration, DoD TS/SCI with FSP, and Sec+ CE or higher. Hybrid/remote arrangements may be available; active clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in system/storage administration.
• Must have DoW (DoD) TS/SCI with FSP.
• Must have Sec+ CE or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage backup systems (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubik).
• Add new servers/VMs to backups and troubleshoot issues.
• Configure a new backup solution when purchased.
• Troubleshoot backup appliances and storage arrays.
• Monitor and fix SAN issues with CLI and zoning.
• Coordinate with ISSO for vulnerabilities and SSP re-authorization.
• Monitor and fix issues with Brocade SAN switches.

Only applicants with an Active TS/SCI and FSP need apply.** Azusa Solutions is seeking a Sr. Storage Administrator/Engineer to join our team of talented consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company comprised of highly qualified, highly impactful, and multi-talented individuals.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience at a System Admin / Storage Admin
• Must have a DoW (DoD) TS/SCI with FSP
• Must have Sec+ CE or higher

Work Hours:

Monday – Friday, 0800 – 1600 unless otherwise approved.

Scheduled rotational on-call for after hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• This role Supports the Corporate Storage Team:
• Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik systems.
• Work with customers to add new servers and VMs into backups and to troubleshoot issues.
• Configure a new backup solution when purchased
• Troubleshoot and coordinate break fix for backup appliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubik) and disk arrays Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast and IBM storage arrays.
• Monitor and fix issues with the SAN using command line troubleshooting and zoning.
• Work with the ISSO to make sure that vulnerabilities are patched.
• Work with the ISSO for SSP re-authorization.
• Monitor and perform fix issues with Brocade SAN switches using command line troubleshooting and zoning.
