Job summary

Azusa Solutions is seeking a Sr. System Administrator/Engineer - Linux to join a team supporting a high-visibility mission environment. Local to DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia; requires TS/SCI with poly and 10+ years of Linux experience, with Kubernetes, VMware, Python and automation skills.

Hybrid telework arrangements are available for some positions. Strong security, scripting, and encryption knowledge are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience as a Linux System Admin/Eng.
• Active TS/SCI with poly required for the role.
• Candidate must be local to the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area.
• Kubernetes experience with tooling and container fundamentals.
• VMware VM creation, configuration and operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Support a high visibility mission environment within a software development/engineering project.
• Apply security and encryption technologies as part of DevOps practices.
• Utilize Python, Ansible and Salt for automation and configuration management.
• Work with Kubernetes, containers and virtualization in a mixed Linux environment.
• Adapt to storage, networking, and security compliance requirements.

  Experience with High Side / Classified networking is a major plus VMWare VM creation, configuration, and operation experience

  Security + Certification; Kubernetes, BASH Desired Experience: -Currently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level. If SYS3 is not current, candidate will need to put in for SYS3
