Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business, CS or other quantitative field
• Substitutions: 6 years relevant, progressive experience in the area
• 5–7 years' underwriting experience for self-funded or converting to self-funding
• Ability to use applicable computer systems and electronic tools
• Strong math aptitude and analytical skills
• Adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies and regulations

Responsibilities

• Renew accounts and write new business at profitable levels
• Calculate rates and interpret pricing policies
• Identify questionable claim patterns and advise on pricing implications
• Apply corporate risk management policies to pricing
• Ensure client compliance with risk management policies
• Lead and guide lower level analysts and maintain tools/processes
