The position requires 4–6 years of underwriting experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and spoken communication. Hybrid work arrangement in the MN area is available.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years underwriting experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance to lower-level underwriters.
• Evaluate risk and analyze data to determine benefits and rates.
• Coordinate underwriting activities on proposals, new cases, renewals, and amendments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with field personnel and clients by answering questions and obtaining information for decisions.
• Review cases exceeding underwriter’s review level.
• Contribute to division profitability through experience and expense analysis.
• Participate in product development and regional marketing rollouts.
• Other duties as assigned.
