Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Sterilization Technician II in Toledo, OH to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate sterilization and decontamination equipment with minimal supervision. Travel to customer sites may be required, and familiarity with Steris, Amsco, or Getinge equipment is helpful.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• AC/DC electrical knowledge; read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Plumbing knowledge; read piping diagrams and identify basic components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical motor circuits, steam generators, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to interpret instrumentation, temperature and pressure calibrations on sterilization equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance assurance inspections, maintenance, and operation verification on complex sterilization equipment.
• Repair and calibrate sterilization and decontamination equipment and systems.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain field related expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Mentor and share expertise with others and support service operations projects.
