Qualifications

• Certification as CRCST/CSPDT CST TS-C or CORST is required for hire.
• Current CRCST, CSPDT, CST, TS-C or CORST certification for continued employment.
• Two or more years experience as Sterile Processing Technician or prior experience as a Surgical Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and prepares instrument sets and case carts.
• Serves as a technical resource to the Sterile Processing Technicians.
• Decontaminates and sterilizes all instruments and equipment according to procedures.
• Checks inventory levels and maintains par levels for instruments and supplies.
• Follows OSHA and TJC guidelines.
• Access to medications and related supplies as required.
