Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Senior Sterile Processing Tech to mentor Sterile Processing staff and support the manager in developing junior team members. You will ensure decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and distribution of processed materials for the hospital and affiliates.

This full‑time role requires working 40 hrs per week with varied shifts, emphasizing safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance, plus ongoing education to maintain credentials.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in sterile processing.
• Must hold CRCT or SPTCD certification, or meet grandfathering/hard-to-fill provisions.

Responsibilities

• Sterile processing for decontamination, sterilization, storage, and distribution.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.
• Maintain and replenish sterilization supplies and equipment.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
