Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive related experience in SPD or OR.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience in hospital SPD.
• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (C.S.P.D.T) or other Sterile Processing Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Sterile Processing operations and ensure workflow quality and efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, budgets, and inventory controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to support optimal patient care and safety.
• Serve as Department Manager-on-Call and participate in Shared Leadership initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs through improved procurement and inventory management.
