Vertex is seeking a collaborative cell biology professional to coordinate production of program-relevant cell types, including 2D/3D pluripotent stem cell cultures, for multiple research projects in a fast-paced lab.

The successful candidate will follow SOPs, document results, and work with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and ensure quality. This on-site role requires the ability to work rotating weekend shifts and maintain high attention to detail.

Competenze

• Masters Degree (or equivalent) in biological sciences with 0-2 years of relevant employment experience, or
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in biological sciences with 4+ years of relevant employment experience

Mansioni

• Culture human stem cells in 2D and/or 3D
• Complete experiments in a reliable, consistent manner
• Maintain strict adherence to SOPs and document results in laboratory notebooks
• Perform initial analysis of experimental data and interpret outcomes
• Record experiments and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems
• Identify problems and suggest troubleshooting steps
• Develop new ideas to improve workflows and efficiency of cell culture processes
• Communicate results clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally
