Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Research Associate to join a preclinical biotechnology company in Cambridge, MA. The role centers on human pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation, and associated molecular biology assays.

You will perform iPSC workflows, 3D cell culture, and workflow optimization, while maintaining rigorous cell culture practices and quality initiatives. Competitive hourly compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field such as regenerative medicine, molecular biology, genetic engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with human pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), stem cell differentiation, 3D cell culture, bioreactors, and sterile technique.
• Hands‑on experience with RT-qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining.

Responsibilities

• Performing human pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation experiments
• Conducting molecular biology assays including RT-qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining
• Supporting cell engineering and differentiation studies while analyzing experimental data and troubleshooting protocols
• Maintaining cell cultures, laboratory supplies, and supporting laboratory compliance and quality initiatives
