Job summary

Honda Trading America Corp. in Marysville, OH is seeking a Senior Steel Sourcing Account Representative to procure and coordinate raw steel coil deliveries for MAP, ELP, and IAP, while leading cost-down projects.

You will act as a commercial liaison between steel mills, coil processors, freight carriers, and Honda plants, tracking supplier performance and driving improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline (or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of steel purchasing, raw materials sourcing, or industrial B2B sales experience.
• Basic knowledge of cost accounting, coil processing economics, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery of automotive steel coil requirements with zero plant short-shipments.
• Serve as key commercial liaison between steel mills, coil processors, freight carriers, and Honda plants.
• Track and manage supplier production data, coil yield efficiency, and delivery performance metrics.
• Lead cost-reduction projects in collaboration with suppliers, customers, and corporate management.
• Maintain rapid steel inventory turnover (1.5 months) and zero aged accounts receivable.

About the Role:
