Job summary

Honda Trading America Corp. in Marysville, OH, is seeking a Raw Materials Account Representative to coordinate procurement, logistics, and sales distribution of steel raw materials for North American facilities and tier-1 stamping suppliers.

You will work to ensure on-time delivery, manage supplier relations, analyze costs, and support cost-down and inventory planning initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of purchasing, sales, or supply chain experience (metals or raw materials preferred).
• Foundational knowledge of cost accounting, profit/loss modeling, and inventory logistics.
• Strong oral and written communication, conflict management, and customer service skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time scheduled delivery of steel coil requirements to automotive stamping plants.
• Coordinate supplier management, order placement, freight tracking, and delivery schedules.
• Analyze material costs, market pricing indices, and logistics charges to set competitive selling prices.
• Partner with manufacturing plants to lead raw material cost-down projects and inventory planning.
• Resolve supply chain disruptions and delivery discrepancies with steel mills and processors.
