Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an experienced industrial plant operator to manage steam boiler operations, HVAC systems, and control room functions across a hospital facility. The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and accurate documentation to support compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in stationary/steam plant operations, knowledge of EPIC and 3M systems, and a valid Georgia/state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• GA Driver's License or valid state license required.
• CAA Ozone Depletion certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains and repairs steam boilers, chillers, pumps, and high voltage switchgear.
• Conducts safety tours and logs readings every 4 hours.
• Tests safety devices daily and documents results.
• Maintains control room operation and computer/analog systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and processes repair requests in a timely fashion.
• Keeps accurate documentation for compliance and audits.
