Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to operate, maintain, and repair its large-scale steam boiler and HVAC systems across our hospital campus in Georgia. The role includes safety inspections, log management, and ensuring continuous operation of complex building management and electrical systems.

The candidate should perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with the Co-Ordinator, and handle repairs of equipment, with strong communication within the healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate with healthcare team.
• Computer/data entry experience required.
• Basic computer skills including Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains and repairs boilers, chillers, pumps, and related HVAC systems.
• Conducts safety inspections and testing of safety equipment.
• Manages building management, energy management, and electrical systems for the facility.
• Maintains logs and reports and coordinates with coordinators and staff.
• Performs preventative maintenance and timely repairs to ensure continuous operation.
