Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer (Remote, US) with 8–10 years in clinical trial programming. You will lead complex programming, deliver analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures, and guide DMC macros and standards.

Collaboration with biostatistics, data management, and IT is essential to ensure quality and regulatory readiness. You will mentor staff, contribute to standards, and drive automation and efficiency across studies and programs, supporting regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep expertise in SAS programming, including complex analyses and regulatory deliverables.
• Proficiency in R programming is a must.
• Demonstrated experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies.
• Experience mentoring staff and driving technical standards or best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in statistical programming across multiple studies.
• Design, validate, and oversee complex programming deliverables (analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures).
• Lead development and standardization of DMC macros and programming standards.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency across deliverables.
• Drive programming standards, best practices, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams on complex trial designs and DMC reporting.
• Mentor statistics programming staff and support skill development.
• Contribute to proposals, project planning, and scope discussions as needed.
• Partner with IT to support SAS environments and system validation.
• Support regulatory submissions and inspection readiness.
