Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Stationary Engineer III at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. This full-time role on the third shift runs Sunday through Thursday, 10pm-6am, with on-site responsibilities.

You will operate HVAC systems, maintain logs, use CMMS and BAS to optimize performance, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure safe, compliant facility operations that support patient care.

Qualifications

• Advanced cert/licensure preferred per city/state requirements.
• 4+ years of stationary engineering experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate HVAC equipment per SOPs with minimal guidance.
• Maintain records in CMMS and logbooks for compliance.
• Respond to alarms and optimize BAS for performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on facility systems.
• Read blueprints and support small projects.
