Complete Building Services seeks a Lead Stationary Engineer for a large facility in Gaithersburg, MD. The LSE will coordinate between on-site shift supervisors and contractor personnel and must hold MD-DLLR Grade 1 and Universal CFC licenses.

The role oversees on-site operations, maintenance, and safety with a focus on steam, chilled water, and electrical generation systems, requiring strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• MD-DLLR Grade 1 License (First Class Stationary Engineer) is required.
• Current Universal CFC License is required.
• CUP experience is required.
• Minimum of 3–5+ years as a Lead or Chief Engineer in a large facility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems and mission critical operations to oversee daily equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site point of contact between shift supervisors and Contractor personnel.
• Oversee on-site Contractor operations and requirements; coordinate tasks.
• Meet with shift supervisors and assign Contractor personnel duties.
• Maintain steam generation systems, water chemistry, and targets for O2 levels.
• Supervise operation of all auxiliary equipment for steam, chillers, and electrical generation.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and enforce PPE and protocols.
