Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Montgomery, PA is hiring an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff across First, Middle, and Last mile functions. You will focus on safety, quality, productivity, and ensuring on-time customer deliveries while driving data-driven improvements.

The role includes in-role training at an operating site for 6+ weeks, with travel accommodations paid by Amazon. A flexible schedule including weekends/overnight shifts is required, and qualifications

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
