Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of state government fiscal and accounting processes.
• SCEIS experience, advanced Excel skills, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and/or Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages accounting processes for designated state agencies and ensures compliance with policies, statutes, GAAP/GASB.
• Reviews workflow documents and financial transactions and provides corrective action guidance.
• Performs account reconciliations and supports internal and external audits.
• Prepares financial and specialized reports required by regulation or management.
• Contributes to policy development and system improvements (e.g., SCEIS master data and processes).
