Job summary

CSO is seeking an experienced accountant to perform complex accounting functions with minimal supervision. You will develop solutions to daily issues and provide guidance to department staff while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company procedures.

The role requires collaboration across business units and interaction with internal and external contacts. The position is full-time, with work hours Monday through Friday; location may be office or remote based, or a combination thereof.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible post college accounting experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts (general ledger).
• Examine and analyze financial information for completeness and accuracy; project trends and outcomes.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify trends and significant changes; produce narrative reports.
