Job summary

UL Standards & Engagement in Evanston, IL (hybrid with Raleigh-Durham, NC or Ottawa, Canada) seeks a Senior Standards Program Manager for the Combustion, Cable and Conduit portfolio. You will lead end-to-end standard development, manage multiple projects, and align outputs with ULSE’s safety and sustainability mission.

You will mentor teams, engage external stakeholders, and represent ULSE in committees, publications and presentations, while monitoring performance and driving continuous process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of related work experience.
• PMP or relevant project management certification a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of standard development processes across CCC portfolio.
• Manage multiple projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Engage external stakeholders and represent ULSE in committees and publications.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and performance measurement for programs.
• Oversee cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Lead technical committee chairs and standards teams.
• Coach and train team members.
