Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own system architecture, integration, and test across stage interfaces for the New Glenn program. You will work with the stage-level Chief Engineer, subsystem leads, and engine teams to ensure seamless engine-vehicle interfaces and to guide design trade assessments.

You will develop and maintain CONOPS and testing requirements, and provide real-time troubleshooting during tests and launches.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in design of aerospace fluid or mechanical systems (Senior Career).
• Experience with 3D CAD ( Creo preferred ).
• Proficiency with FEA tools to analyze pressurized systems ( ANSYS preferred ).
• Ability to craft engineering drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Knowledge of valves, tubing, pressurized hardware, and fabrication/assembly.

Responsabilidades

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments.
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation.
• Create operations documents defining testing requirements and life cycle interfaces.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams for integration.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 subsystems.
• Provide real-time on-console support for integrated tests, launches, and recovery.
• Analyze test data and propose design improvements.
• Support failure analysis and corrective actions.
