Mainspring Energy in Menlo Park is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage an embedded software team developing the company\'s revolutionary linear generator platform. You will oversee product cycles from design to delivery and mentor engineers.

You will guide Agile processes, coordinate with product management and QA, and help hire and grow talent while ensuring timely, high-quality software for a complex, real-time system.

Qualifications

• 12+ years embedded software development experience, with project management.
• Strong background with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of software engineers with regular one-on-ones.
• Project Management: Oversee full software development lifecycle, milestones, timelines, and blockers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, executives, and QA teams.
• Technical Guidance: Provide high-level architectural feedback during design reviews.
• Hiring and Growth: Interview, hire, and onboard engineers while building career paths.
