Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager for Reliability to lead strategy and execution of critical reliability initiatives across infrastructure and product engineering. You will partner with senior leaders to define roadmaps, own end-to-end programs, and drive improvements in scalability, fault tolerance, and operational tooling.

This role shapes reliability culture through governance, incident readiness, and metrics, spanning multiple clouds and cross-functional teams,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing and delivering large-scale technical programs.
• Experience developing infrastructure across two or more hyperscale cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Demonstrated success leading Reliability Programs at scale, incl. availability, failover, and incident reduction.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, distributed systems, or SRE practices; engineering/SRE background preferred.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership to define strategy and drive large, multi-team initiatives.
• Ability to translate ambiguous goals into actionable program plans with clear milestones and KPIs.
• Experience managing cross-organizational dependencies and multi-quarter timelines.
• Experience delivering programs across multiple clouds and/or cloud-native services.
• Experience building and scaling engineering processes and stakeholder alignment mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term reliability roadmap with cross-team alignment.
• Own end-to-end program execution: planning, risk management, dependencies, and delivery.
• Drive reliability improvements: scalability, fault tolerance, automation, and tooling.
• Foster reliability culture with governance, incident readiness, and metrics.
