Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-workstream data platform initiatives centered on Databricks. You will drive strategy, delivery, governance, and stakeholder communication to enable high-performing teams delivering business value at scale.

You will own end-to-end program strategy, translate outcomes into measurable OKRs/KPIs, and orchestrate cross-functional delivery across data engineering, platform, DevOps, QA, and security.

Qualifications

• Strong backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
• Proven delivery of multi-workstream, multi-vendor programs.
• Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) experience.
• ETL/ELT using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, dbt, Airflow, or Informatica.
• Strong SQL and Python for data workflows; CI/CD.
• Cloud platforms knowledge and cost governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Translate outcomes into OKRs/KPIs and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across data engineering, platform, DevOps, QA, and security.
• Establish delivery governance and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive Agile at scale and manage sprint health and releases.
• Define SLAs/SLOs for data pipelines and analytics products.
• Oversee modernization/migration programs and cost optimization.
• Ensure robust CI/CD for data pipelines and IaC.
