Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Systems Requirements & Development Engineer to support the SiAW missile program.

This full-time, on-site role in Northridge, CA requires an active DoD Secret clearance and involves translating customer needs into verifiable system requirements, conducting trade studies, and coordinating with software and hardware teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline with 5+ years of systems engineering experience (or MS + 3+ years).
• Experience in hardware, software, and/or test engineering.
• Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS and CAMEO.
• Experience in technical writing (planning documents, test procedures, test/analysis reports).
• Experience in configuration management and product lifecycle management tools.
• Must communicate methodically and in detail.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and CONOPS into systems requirements and allocate to lower-level requirements.
• Perform functional analysis and systems trade studies for design, test, and operation.
• Generate system and subsystem requirements, interface, and verification documents.
• Support system architecture, design, and test architecture on complex weapon systems.
• Develop technical and cost volumes for proposals using historical data.
• Support system/subsystem integration, verification activities with software/hardware teams.
• Track systems engineering metrics and progress in reviews and EVMS/CAM processes.
