Job summary

Alkami Technology, a remote-first platform provider for U.S. banks and credit unions, is seeking a Sr Staff Software Engineer to lead and contribute to complex systems from design to deployment.

You will own features, triage production issues, and mentor other engineers in a remote-first environment that supports work from anywhere in the US. The role requires deep backend expertise (Java/Kotlin/Spring Boot/Hibernate), AWS EKS, and frontend modernization with Vue.js or React.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in software development; or 8 years with an advanced degree
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• MarTech experience required

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, fault-tolerant production applications
• Lead code/design reviews and architecture planning
• Mentor engineers and participate in sprint planning
• Manage on-call incidents and system health monitoring
• Influence product roadmap and drive modernization efforts
