Zscaler in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Sr. Staff Software Development Engineer to join the Zero Trust Branch datapath team. This hybrid role requires three days in office and reports to the Architect, Engineering, contributing to dataplane services and APIs used by millions globally.

You will design robust networked software, leverage Go and Python, optimize performance, and collaborate across functions to deliver secure, cloud-based solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions.
• 10+ years of experience designing and developing software in distributed environments.
• Strong proficiency in Go for network data handling and processing.
• Deep Linux expertise: system-level programming, networking concepts, scripting, troubleshooting.
• Exposure to SD-WAN, VPNs, Cloud Security, and AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architectures.
• Develop resilient cloud-based software solutions and network integrations.
• Advance cloud-delivered security and SD-WAN technologies.
