Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of current RN clinical experience.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Associates degree in nursing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia) at hire.
• Basic Life Support at hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status, determine nursing diagnosis, establish nursing goals, and develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing plan of care.
• Documents patient data, actions, interventions, and responses per policy.
• Leads nursing responses to medical emergencies.
• Provides patient education and counseling.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Serves as preceptor and mentor for new staff.
