Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of current RN clinical experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Associates degree in nursing.
• Registered Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire and BLS.
• Flex to float to TP, GW, and SW as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status, determine nursing diagnoses, establish goals, and develop and evaluate the plan of care.
• Completes POE and addresses care gaps during the patient encounter.
• Documents patient data, actions, interventions, and responses per policy.
• Assists with procedures and monitors patient response.
• Leads nursing response in medical emergencies and coordinates care with the health care team.
• Monitors communications and triages messages to physicians or staff as needed.
• Initiates and monitors IV therapy, medications, and other nursing procedures as prescribed.
• Provides health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
