Job summary

Antora Energy, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior/Staff Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering execution for commercial thermal energy storage and power projects.

You will own engineering integration of balance-of-plant (BOP) systems from design through construction, commissioning, and turnover. You will independently identify design deficiencies and drive quality, schedule, and constructability across a growing project portfolio while coordinating with external EORs, equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant technical experience.
• Senior: 8+ years; Staff: 12+ years of engineering execution on complex industrial projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering execution for industrial EPC projects.
• Experience managing external engineers and vendors; drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering execution across civil, structural, mechanical, process, electrical, and controls through design to turnover.
• Own the technical completeness and quality of deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, SLDs, specifications, IFC drawings).
• Assess design packages for compliance, constructability, and field readiness; address gaps before construction.
• Manage external EORs and engineering contractors; coordinate deliverables and schedules.
• Lead technical readiness for construction and commissioning; oversee handover to operations.
• Provide input to procurement; review equipment specs and vendor drawings; integrate packages into design.
• Partner with Project Manager to manage risks, changes, and cost/schedule impacts.
• Offer hands-on technical leadership at project sites during engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve standards and workflows.
• Typical travel of 25%.
