Job summary

Antora Energy, Inc. is seeking a Plant Technician to operate thermal energy storage and boiler systems, supporting installation, commissioning, and ongoing plant operations.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on first-of-a-kind industrial installations of the Antora thermal battery. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on diagnostic work, SOP creation, and mentorship of team members within a fast-growing, cross-functional organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations experience with control systems (DCS/SCADA/PLCs).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in hazardous environments.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment and calibration tools.
• Solid understanding of energy storage, boilers, steam generators and related systems.
• Ability to perform inspections, startups/shutdowns and emergency responses.
• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, generators, control systems and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Exercise sound judgment on technical problems with minimal oversight.
• Prioritize and manage tasks within a trade or functional area.
• Deliver high-quality work and validate others' outputs against standards.
• Maintain lockout/tagout programs, hot work permits, hazard analyses and confined spaces.
• Operate with minimal supervision and mentor team members.
