Job summary

Antora Energy, Inc. is seeking a Plant Technician to operate and maintain thermal energy storage and boiler systems. You will support installation, commissioning, and operations while collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to safely execute first‑of‑a‑kind demonstrations of long‑duration energy storage technology.

The role emphasizes hands‑on diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and the creation of SOPs to raise safety and efficiency. Onsite engagement in Pratt, Kansas is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; military experience accepted.
• Experience with control systems (DCS/SCADA/PLC) and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, generators, control systems, and balance‑of‑plant equipment.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout, hot work permits, JHA, and confined space procedures.
• Develop and follow SOPs to improve operations and maintenance.
• Diagnose, test, and repair large industrial machinery.
• Mentor team members and ensure high safety standards.
